once the science museum got too crowded with holiday visitors, we beat a hasty retreat back to the Hancock compound and built a ferris wheel out of k'nex building toys, complete with motor. the cousin crew is pretty pleased with this, and has built a cotton candy shack, stairs and ticket booth. everybody gets to put their fave Lego guy on for a ride. right now there is a long line to ride but current riders include a zombie, a baseball player, a one-legged pirate and a stormtrooper. also, house rules say no weapons on the wheel, so there is a pile of guns and swords off to the side. the stormtrooper was displeased with this ruling.
